    Description

Vintage 1956-1957 VMC 88 Pepsi Cola Machine Cooler Dispenser
This vintage Pepsi machine was made by the Vendorlator MFG Co in 1956-1957.  The machine stands upright, is blue in color and has "Drink Pepsi Cola" lettering on the front. This coin operated machine dispenses 88 bottles.  The inside of this machine shows four vending hoppers which would dispense bottles alternately, into the chute, holding 88 bottles total.  What makes this machine so unique is it came with a set of metal shims, allowing the machine to vend many different size bottles. (Which I believe range from 6.5oz to 12oz.).  The metal shims are on the sides to adjust for the different diameter bottles, and the metal shims on the back to adjust the length of the bottle.  This VMC88 was the first machine to offer this feature.

    It measures 58" high x 26 1/4" wide x 18" deep
    It weighs approximately 140 lbs
This is an unrestored machine and has all its original parts.  The paint finish is in "great" condition with very minimal patina (a brown film on the surface produced by oxidation and due to the age of the machine). Please see pictures.
